Project Holiday Stockings

Project Holiday Stocking was founded in 2003 to send Holiday Greetings to our men and women serving in Harms' Way.  The stockings are filled with items requested by our troops. We are a NON PROFIT organization; we pay no salaries or expenses. Everyone involved donates their time and associated expenses.  To date we have shipped over 29,000 stockings to our troops.  Our organization has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, Ventura County Star, The Acorn, 805 magazine and the Westlake magazine.
You may show your support by filling a holiday stocking not longer than 20 inches from top to heel with some of the items listed below.  The Dollar Tree and Ninety-nine Cent Store are good resources for your stockings and supplies.  We encourage you to include your personal holiday greeting and/or e-mail address.  Our service men and women enjoy receiving messages from home.
The stocking, along with a check for $10.95 to cover the flat rate shipping cost of each stocking, may be dropped off at any of our collection locations, between November 1 and December 12.  Checks should be made payable to Denise Snavely, and all monies are deposited into a special account, set up by the Westlake office of Merrill Lynch.  The checks drawn on that account are made payable to the United States Post Master of Thousand Oaks.

Please help bring the Holiday spirit to these brave and dedicated individuals, whose service and sacrifice guarantee the freedom we take for granted everyday.
